The priorities of a client’s custom home or remodel involve detailed communication, a solid client/builder relationship and streamlined processes. Providing a pleasant building experience and having full confidence in your investment with MCC is very important to Dave. You will work with him directly on every step and decision of your custom home or remodel. This creates a focus of stewardship and communication directly towards you and your family.

 

INITIAL CONSULTATION
We begin the process by sitting down with you to brainstorm ideas. This is a time for you to share your dream and vision for your new home or remodel. We’ll talk through your ideas, discuss your goals and general budget as well as share some ideas of our own. This is an exploratory session where you tell us all the things you want in your home from space needs to special design details.

 

PROJECT DEFINITION
Next Dave will take his notes regarding everything he learned during the exploratory session and begin to form a description of the project. The project description will document the scope of the project and will help determine the overall budget.  You don’t need to know every design detail at this point.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you have selected MCC as your builder, Dave will review the scope of the project with you and begin the planning & estimating process.

 

PLAN DEVELOPMENT & ESTIMATE
With the scope of work confirmed we move into plan development & estimating. Dave will then sit down with you again and walk through the scope of the high-level plan and estimate.  See our Custom Homes and Remodeling pages for more detailed information on each process.

 

MANAGEMENT OF THE JOB
You will see Dave onsite actively managing your project on a day to day basis and working hands on alongside his trade partners.

 

COMMUNICATION
We believe open transparent communication is key to the success of your project. With MCC you have a direct line of communication to your builder. Dave is available to talk to you directly on site, by email, phone or text to answer questions. We want to know if something is not meeting your expectations, so we can work with you to correct it.
